About Denise Calvert
Denise (M.) Calvert is a powerhouse of resilience and precision, a finance executive, operations engineering professional, and the Founder and CEO of C&S Finance Group LLC. With an MBA in Corporate Finance from TESU and a certification in Advanced Operations Management from the American Council on Education, she combines technical expertise with lived experience. Known for her unwavering commitment to excellence and a consistent record of five star results, she has helped build, stabilize, and scale several million dollar businesses through disciplined financial and operational strategy.
Born in Radcliff, Kentucky, Denise was raised in a home shaped by discipline, intellect, and high expectations. Her father, a military Sergeant and combat veteran, instilled structure, responsibility, and mental toughness from an early age. Her mother was a doctor who also attended one of Maryland’s most prestigious law schools. Together, they modeled both rigor and compassion, laying the foundation for Denise’s leadership style and work ethic.
Her professional journey has included both success and profound personal adversity. Earlier in her career, Denise experienced multiple business failures that forced her to reassess, rebuild, and mature as a leader. During this period, she also endured abuse and abandonment by a former fiancé following several miscarriages. These experiences tested her stability, confidence, and sense of security. Rather than allowing loss and betrayal to define her future, she chose discipline, accountability, and inner strength as the foundation for her recovery.
Her unexpected path to motherhood later reignited the lessons of perseverance and responsibility from her upbringing and gave renewed meaning to her commitment to structure and purpose. Seeing her child in the womb strengthened her resolve to lead with clarity, order, and long term vision.
Now residing in Poland with her husband and newborn child, who is half Polish, Denise embraces both her faith and her global perspective. As a Puritan, she believes that strength and chaos cannot coexist and that emotion must always be governed by reason. This philosophy shapes her strict, direct, and highly effective approach to leadership. She is often described as demanding yet inspiring, driven by a deep desire to see others succeed through discipline and personal responsibility.
